Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Lourdes Health Network. As a critical care nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and participate in patient and family education.

Responsibilities
  • Provide total nursing care for patients in the ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in patient and family education, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Meet the educational and experience requirements outlined below.
Requirements
  • BSN preferred.
  • Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population serviced in the ICU.
  • Previous education and experience in critical care nursing or a desire and willingness to learn and participate in related coursework to develop intensive care nursing abilities.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Washington State required.
  • Current AHA BLS required.
  • ACLS Certification within six (6) months of hire date required.
  • TNCC or four (4) hours of approved trauma education preferred.
  • Critical Care or Medical/Surgical Nursing Certification preferred.
  • Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking abilities preferred.
  • Ability to work with a culturally diverse population.
