Position Overview
As a member of our Natural Sciences faculty, the Physics Lab Educator will undertake the following responsibilities:
Teach PHY 201L (General Physics I laboratory); 1 Credit Hour(s)
In PHY 201L, the curriculum emphasizes scientific reasoning and experimental design while delving into the principles of velocity, acceleration, forces, and vectors.
- Proven experience with "active learning" methodologies in both online and in-person settings.
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for effective interaction with all university stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with students, faculty, staff, and university administration.
- Commitment to engaging with diverse populations.
- Proven effectiveness in teaching.
- Compensation of $1025 per class taught.

Required Qualifications
A Master's degree in Physics or a related discipline; prior experience in teaching at the college level is preferred.
