Job Summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a highly skilled Energy Contract Manager to join our team. As an Energy Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing pre-commercial and commercial energy supply contracts, including certifying completion of contractually required milestones, acceptance of commercial operation, compliance, dispute resolution, and invoice settlement for long-term renewable and non-renewable contracts and agreements.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective planning, execution, and monitoring of pre-commercial long-term renewable power purchase agreements.
Track pre-commercial construction performance milestones and lead monthly meetings with suppliers.
Assist in identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies in collaboration with project teams, Legal, and counterparty.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and contract terms through commercial operation of renewable facilities.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong planning and analytical skills.
Proficient with personal computers, including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of energy industry, project management, contract management.
Familiarity with PacifiCorp's transmission system and knowledge of the bulk electric transmission system in the Western U.S.
Experience working in a regulated environment.
Project management skills.
