Position Overview:

As a Fine Jewelry Sales Consultant at Bloomingdale's, your primary responsibility is to guide and inspire customers, helping them discover how style can energize their lives. With a commitment to exceptional service, a keen interest in fashion, and strong product knowledge, you will build and nurture long-term client relationships both in-store and online. You will deliver the Bloomingdale's customer experience through engaging conversations, creating a welcoming and inquisitive atmosphere that fosters human connection during the shopping experience. Sales Consultants are expected to actively engage on the sales floor, assess customer needs, promote our Loyalty programs, and support the shopping journey from beginning to end. Additionally, you will ensure operational excellence by utilizing our store's fulfillment system and adhering to merchandise presentation standards and asset protection protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience, fostering customer relationships both in-store and online.

Enhance sales with both in-store and online clients by leveraging technology effectively.

Participate in merchandising and operational duties associated with the role.

  • Adhere to all aspects of asset protection standards, including maintaining secure showcases and merchandise.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Position requires extended periods of standing and walking throughout the store.
  • May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, and color vision.
  • Frequent use of computers and technology necessary for job functions, including handheld devices and cash registers.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs regularly.

This position may qualify for performance-based incentives and bonuses. Benefits include 401(k), medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance options, as well as PTO accruals and holidays. Eligibility requirements may apply based on various factors.
