Job Summary:

The RF Engineer will be responsible for reviewing site close out packages, site sweep/PIM results for accuracy, and updating databases with necessary information.

  • Review site close out packages and site sweep/PIM results for accuracy.
  • Update databases with necessary information.
  • Create site design RFDS and complete plumbing diagrams.
  • Generate RF propagation plots for review when required.
  • Utilize propagation tools and other RF related software such as MapInfo, ATOLL, Datapro for site candidate comparison, propagation and coverage review and selection, zoning and regulatory.
  • Prepare necessary zoning/regulatory filings for sites ensuring that compliance is met.
  • Attend zoning meetings for assigned area as required.
  • Ensure 100% regulatory requirements are met in every phase of design project.
  • Conduct RFE analysis, generate required reports and documents, and ensure 100% compliance to RFE mitigation standards within the allotted time frame.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and excellent communication skills. The candidate should also have experience with ATOLL, Roofview and/or RoofMaster, Google Earth / .kml import, FCC ASR and ULS databases, FUZE, and Microsoft Office suite of products.

Preferred Skills:

The candidate should also have functional knowledge of 4G/5G Wireless Systems and experience with Tableau, MapInfo thematic map creation, PIM mitigation techniques, Return Loss and Cable Loss calculations, Sweep measurement expertise, and Database management.
