Job Summary

SEACORP is seeking a highly qualified Senior Systems Safety Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for conducting research, studies, and analyses to ensure that systems safety engineering requirements and specifications are incorporated into the design of systems from concept phase throughout a systems life cycle.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems safety engineering, with experience in conducting safety analyses, developing safety requirements, and implementing safety solutions. You will work closely with our team of engineers and technicians to provide engineering and technical support specific to performing safety analysis for Torpedoes, Batteries, Software, Combat Systems, Ranges, and Unmanned Undersea Vehicles (UUV).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research, studies, and analyses to ensure that systems safety engineering requirements and specifications are incorporated into the design of systems from concept phase throughout a systems life cycle.
  • Employ existing guidelines and instructions, guidance from higher-level system safety engineers, experience, and independent judgment to plan and accomplish task objectives.
  • Develop and implement safety solutions to ensure the safe operation of systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Software discipline.
  • 3+ years of related experience in systems safety engineering.
  • Experience in conducting safety analyses, developing safety requirements, and implementing safety solutions.
