Job Summary

The Little Nell is seeking a highly skilled and courteous Bell Person to join our team. As a key member of our Guest Services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is nothing short of exceptional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Escort arriving guests to their rooms, handling their luggage with care and efficiency
  • Provide guests with a summary of hotel information, including amenities and services
  • Ensure guest rooms are in order and provide guests with information on hotel services and hours of operation
  • Handle luggage for tour or group check-ins, following established procedures
  • Transport guest skis to the Ski Concierge and assist with valet parking, door and driving functions as needed
  • Assist the Concierge and Ski Concierge on duty as required, answering phones and taking messages
  • Perform tasks as required by the Concierge on duty to provide maximum guest service
  • Deliver messages, packages, or other items to guest rooms or other areas of the hotel expeditiously
  • Assist departing guests with their luggage, checking it into storage or bringing it to the entrance
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the Living Room, Lobby, and Bell storeroom
  • Polish brass bell carts daily
  • Report any deficiencies or guest dissatisfaction to the Front Desk and Guest Services Manager
  • Display a high level of friendly and courteous service at all times, as well as a cooperative attitude with all hotel employees
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Driver's License with no violations
  • Previous hotel experience helpful
  • Able to handle a variety of different tasks at the same time
  • Command of the English language
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The Bell Person will work in a fast-paced environment, often in adverse conditions, requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements. The position requires the ability to be on your feet, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time, as well as the ability to lift, push, or pull occasionally up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance.
