General Overview:

Under the supervision of the Nutrition Services Supervisor and Executive Chef, this role involves specific tasks to deliver food services to patients, residents, staff, and visitors while adhering to established sanitation protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and portion meals, sandwiches, desserts, beverages, and salads for patients, residents, and the cafeteria.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area and perform assigned daily cleaning tasks.
  • Exhibit respect and consideration for the dignity of all patients, residents, families, visitors, and colleagues to ensure a professional and courteous environment.
  • Foster effective working relationships and collaborate effectively as part of a team to help achieve departmental goals.
  • Adhere to assigned work procedures and priorities, reporting any issues to a supervisor or manager.
  • Comply with safety and personal hygiene standards required by the department, following infection control protocols.
  • Assist in the preparation of supplies and tray assembly.
  • Support the unpacking, handling, and storage of food and supply deliveries.
