Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at PPS-HPS in Norwalk. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of diesel trucks and buses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and buses
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
  • Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders
  • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications preferred
  • Valid CDL Class B license preferred
