Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at PPS-HPS in Norwalk. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of diesel trucks and buses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and buses
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
- Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications preferred
- Valid CDL Class B license preferred
