Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Care Coordinator. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in a diverse healthcare environment, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating with members of the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, including implementing and monitoring patient care plans.
  • Coordinate with members of the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's care needs with members of the healthcare team.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

Requirements:

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration:
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
    • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
    • Advanced Life Support preferred.
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
  • Education:
    • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
  • Additional Preferences:
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in field of specialty, in an Acute Hospital required.
