Job Summary

Ascension Seton, a leading healthcare organization, seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, implement and monitor patient care plans, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, including assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
  • Assess and document patient condition, communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure at time of hire.
  • Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
  • Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
