Position Overview:Core Responsibilities:
The UK Innovation Associate will report to the UK Innovation Connect Manager, College of Medicine, serving as a vital resource for the corporate partnership team – UK Innovation Connect.
Key Duties:
· 50% Data Analysis & Benchmarking: Conduct analysis and reporting on national industry funding trends and within the University of Kentucky research community. Perform benchmarking against peer institutions for funding trends, clinical research, research infrastructure, and industry partnership developments.
· 30% Industry Partnerships: Assist in fostering existing and prospective industry partnerships by identifying opportunities within current UK partners and pinpointing companies for engagement at various scientific and industry conferences. Conduct internal research on notable research, clinical, and infrastructure strengths to create materials for industry partners.
· 10% Administrative Tasks: Participate in weekly meetings with the Manager of UK Innovation Connect, College of Medicine, and the Executive Director to review priorities and progress; collaborate with the Manager on project updates.
· 10% Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other assigned tasks, including customer service, event coordination, and general office duties.

· Experience in industry settings (internships, co-ops, industry-sponsored research or collaborations, etc.)
