Academic Pathologist Position in Lexington, KY

Job Summary: The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Kentucky is seeking a board certified surgical pathologist. The successful candidate will join an academic hospital-based practice and engage primarily in anatomic pathology subspecialty clinical service and teaching duties.
Responsibilities:
* Provide expert diagnostic services in anatomic pathology
* Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows
* Participate in research and scholarly activities
* Collaborate with other departments to improve patient care
Requirements:
* MD, DO, or equivalent degree
* Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
* Licensed in Kentucky
* Demonstrated ability in teaching and research
* Knowledge of pathology and laboratory medicine practices
Preferred Qualifications:
* Fellowship training in surgical pathology
* Experience in Cytopathology, Genitourinary, Gynecologic, or Pulmonary pathology
