We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical Oncology team at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic nursing care to patients, including vital sign collection, wound care, and medication administration.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct routine tests, prepare patient records, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood draws, as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing program.
- Current/valid Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse from the state licensing board.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- IV Certification within the first 90 days of hire.
- One (1) year experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting.
- One (1) year Specialty clinic experience.
