We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Oncology team at St. Marys Regional Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes
- Utilize the nursing process to coordinate care with other healthcare team members
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs
- Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines to ensure accurate and timely care
- Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in clinical team conferences to discuss patient care and outcomes
- BLS/ACLS certification required upon hire
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
- Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Certification: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire or obtained within 60 days of hire with prior approval
