Medical Oncology Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Oncology team at St. Marys Regional Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement patient care to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in clinical team conferences to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
- Comply with hospital, regulatory, and professional guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire or obtained within 60 days of hire with prior approval.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
- A Registered Nurse with an ASN/ADN degree must complete a BSN degree within four (4) years from the Registered Nurse's date of hire unless the Registered Nurse has a minimum of fifteen (15) years of proven continuous Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The Registered Nurse will be expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients, and to navigate crowded and busy rooms.
