POSITION TITLE: CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

REPORTS TO: Psychiatric Practice Manager

ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completion of an accredited program, holding at least an Associate's Degree in Applied Science, along with Medical Assistant Certification; preference will be given to candidates with experience in supporting individuals with substance use disorders and/or mental health challenges.

OR

  • A suitable combination of education and relevant experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Certified Medical Assistant will deliver professional support addressing the psychiatric and integrated healthcare requirements of individuals seeking medication management services at Coastal Horizons. This role involves collaboration with psychiatric care providers, including but not limited to Medical Doctors, Physician Assistants, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, and other outpatient healthcare professionals.
