This role is responsible for ensuring the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. Key responsibilities include inspecting, testing, and performing system checks to identify deficiencies and prepare accurate inspection reports.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on fire sprinkler systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Service and inspect wet, dry, and pre-action fire suppression systems to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Install, maintain, repair, or replace fire sprinkler equipment and systems in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Service wet-based fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper function and safety.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner to provide excellent customer service.
  • Complete detailed inspection reports documenting any issues and report results of work completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Protect and maintain company equipment and property.
  • Work safely in accordance with company safety procedures, including driver safety and personal protective equipment.
  • Respond to emergency service calls to ensure prompt and effective resolution.

Education/Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience with fire sprinkler systems is preferred.
  • Experience with commercial and residential systems is required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills are essential for this role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment are required.
  • A clean driving record and reliable transportation are necessary for this position.
  • Flexibility with scheduling requirements, including evening, weekend, and out-of-town assignments, is required.

Other Duties:

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

  • This role requires regular standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaching with hands or arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and occasionally lifting and/or moving heavy objects.
  • The work also requires balancing, climbing, grasping, hearing, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, repetitive motion, speaking, talking, and visual acuity.
