We are seeking a highly skilled Research Compliance Auditor to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key contributor to our Research Compliance Audit and Monitoring Program, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and best practices in research administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of research records and activities to identify areas of strength and improvement.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Provide guidance and education to research teams on research compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of research compliance initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and provide expertise to the research community.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as physical sciences, public health, or biomedical sciences.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in research administration and/or conducting research at an institution of higher education and/or academic medical center.
  • Experience working with research administration software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of research regulations and processes, including human subjects research, clinical billing, and FDA regulated research.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as CIP, CHC, or CHRC.
  • 5+ years of research audit experience.
