**Job Summary**

The Loss Prevention Agent is a critical role within Uniqlo Co., Ltd. responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive loss prevention program to protect company assets and ensure a safe working environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of loss prevention policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and effective implementation.
  • Train and educate store employees on loss prevention policies and procedures, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify and address potential loss and safety concerns, working closely with management to implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the Loss Prevention Manager to develop and implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and improve overall store security.
  • Prepare and submit incident reports, accident reports, and investigative reports in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Assist in the investigation of employee policy and procedure violations, providing recommendations for improvement and implementation.
  • Communicate and support initiatives aimed at reducing shortages, including audits, inventory counts, and other related activities.
  • Offer recommendations and solutions to potential loss and safety concerns, ensuring a proactive approach to maintaining a secure environment.
  • Ensure confidentiality in all investigations and outcomes, maintaining the trust and integrity of the company.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the loss prevention program.
  • Respond to alarm calls as needed, taking prompt action to resolve issues and maintain a secure environment.

**Qualifications:**

  • Ability to physically apprehend and assist in the detention of shoplifters as required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and educate employees.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work extended periods at a desk or standing/walking as required.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including nights and weekends.
  • Experience in conducting investigations and loss prevention preferred.
  • 1-2 years of retail loss prevention experience preferred.
