Job Summary

This role oversees the shift management team to ensure facility objectives are met or exceeded at the lowest cost consistent with operating requirements. The incumbent will gather information, communicate expectations, and use strong decision-making skills to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support, manage, or implement food safety and product quality standards.
  • Lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives for the entire Idaho campus, resulting in total employee safety and environmental compliance.
  • Use leadership competencies to create a shift team that exceeds expected deliverables (production/volumes, employee relations, budgets, quality, and safety).
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner, ensuring confidentiality regarding sensitive issues related to company and employee matters.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of employee relation issues with utmost professionalism and timeliness.
  • Ensure additional accountabilities as may be required by management are handled in a manner necessary to meet operational goals.
  • Manage and coordinate facility activities to ensure performance goals such as quality, sanitation, food safety, and grade yield are met or exceeded.
  • Assist with new product startups.
  • Maintain metrics/downtime, SPC, and all production reporting; drive reduced startup, assure accurate inventory control scans.
  • Responsible for shift scheduling and overtime.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a 4-year college or university.
  • 5+ years related experience and/or training.
