Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist I to join our team at the Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA). This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in an invasive procedure arena, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease.
About the Role- Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease in an invasive procedure arena.
- Perform scrub duties and related procedures for cardiac interventions, left heart catheterization, and right and left heart catheterization with minimal assistance.
- Record cardiac interventions, left heart catheterization, and left and right heart catheterization hemodynamics with accuracy.
- Maintain ECG set up and rhythm monitoring, as well as basic hemodynamic set up and waveform monitoring.
- Assist in preparation of room with fellow staff members for safe, effective care of patient.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology or a related field.
- RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or RT(R)CI certification required within the first 2 years of hire and must be maintained.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within three (3) months of hire and thereafter maintained.
