Position Overview

As a Customs and Inbound Logistics Coordinator at Envalior, you will oversee trading and import compliance activities for the importation of raw materials and finished products into the United States.

Your role will also involve embracing a spirit of innovation, seeking out new methodologies to improve our processes and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for regional preferential treatment certifications, utilizing SAP GTS for annual renewals and addressing ad-hoc requests.
  • Manage duty drawback and trading programs in collaboration with external service providers, while monitoring vendor performance metrics monthly.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of customs-related material master data, including HTS codes and country of origin, within SAP ECC.
  • Support the inbound process until goods are received in the warehouse, coordinating with the drayage company alongside the regional warehouse manager.
  • Direct brokerage providers to prioritize incoming shipments, ensuring timely clearance to avoid delays and additional costs.
  • Develop expertise in supply chain management and customs regulations, engaging in ongoing education to maintain compliance with evolving standards.
  • Generate reports related to inbound order flows and drayage provider performance as needed.

This position plays a crucial role in the organization by managing various programs aimed at minimizing duty payments for imported materials. You will also facilitate the timely delivery of imported goods by coordinating multiple external vendors, ensuring uninterrupted plant operations and prompt fulfillment of customer orders.
