Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at BlueGrace Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our operations are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily communication between customers and internal teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Proactively monitor the operations dashboard to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to meet and exceed service commitments
  • Identify logistics trends and work with customers and the enterprise team to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities for improvement
  • Manage systemic issues, such as service failures, critical delays, and billing issues, to ensure the stability and health of customer accounts
  • Deliver weekly review and monthly report outs to customers based on their requirements
  • Develop, facilitate, and implement account-specific projects, including executing milestones, tracking progress, and communicating completion to internal and customer stakeholders
  • Calculate the ROI and impact of projects and communicate the value provided to customers
  • Perform root cause analysis for issues or concerns affecting accounts, document the issues, develop project corrective action, and lead the project to successful solution meeting or exceeding customer expectations
  • Escalate client critical issues to upper management and follow up with solutions
  • Create presentations, documents, and spreadsheets to manage customer accounts and share relevant data with customers
  • Communicate with internal BlueGrace departments to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of customer accounts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in operational warehouse, freight/transportation purchasing role
  • Experience working with big box retail companies
  • Ability to write business and other related reports and correspondence as an industry subject matter expert
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
  • Ability to analyze all aspects of transportation data to report in clear and meaningful metrics
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Experience working in ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
