About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a Senior Budget Analyst. As a key member of the Office of the Administrator, you will play a critical role in implementing the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) and resolving acquisition issues in coordination with Program Managers, Contracting Officers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and strengthen management controls to safeguard programs.
  • Prepare official reports for EPA's technology programs and recommend new and innovative approaches to ensure effective funds control.
  • Implement all or part of the provisions of the GPRA.
  • Resolve acquisition issues in coordination with Program Managers, Contracting Officers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • You must have 1 year of full-time specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level, executing budgetary resources and/or performing funds control activities.
  • You must have knowledge of budgetary regulations, protocols, and procedures.
  • You must have skill in oral communication, written communication, and budget analysis and evaluation.
