Senior Budget Analyst Job Description

ASRC Federal Holding Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Budget Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Budget Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing financial guidance and support to program managers and Bureau officials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on budget planning, financial analysis, and cost management.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive budget justifications and funding reports.
  • Analyze program plans and financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Collaborate with program officials to develop and implement budget strategies and recommendations.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing budget laws, regulations, and policies, and provide guidance to team members.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience in budget planning, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • BS/BA degree in a related field, such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Must meet citizenship requirements and have the ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret government clearance.
