Job Title: Lead Product Designer, Engagement

Navient is seeking a highly skilled Lead Product Designer, Engagement to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design of our products and services, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of our products and services, ensuring a user-centric approach that meets business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product solutions and improve business efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences.
  • Design and implement user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in designing web-based products, with a strong background in UX and UI design.
  • High proficiency in Figma and other UX/UI software.
  • Experience managing designers and/or serving as a project lead.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design strategy across the company.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work effectively in a team environment.
