Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine the release management framework for game updates and service enhancements.
  • Create and maintain schedules for significant planned releases and urgent hotfixes, ensuring timely delivery of major updates.
  • Collaborate with various partners regarding maintenance schedules, downtime, and mobile submissions.
  • Address operational challenges in a live environment, including participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation and conducting postmortems.
  • Act as a representative for the development team in discussions related to publishing, commercial strategies, and platform planning.
  • Engage in planning sessions with Esports and Community partners for event setups.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within our processes and live operations.
  • Provide updates on the status of live operations, releases, and upcoming milestones to both the team and leadership.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion and diversity within the workplace.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in live software or services, focusing on production, quality assurance, operations, or project management.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of software development and project management methodologies.
  • Proficient in building, tracking, and maintaining complex roadmaps and schedules.

  • Self-motivated and accountable.
  • Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in the gaming industry, particularly with live games.
  • Previous experience in engineering or supporting engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with Hearthstone as a player is advantageous.
