Job Responsibilities

As a Housekeeper at Hotel Magdalena, you will:

  • Adhere to all standards of operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Complete an in-room checklist for each assigned room.
  • Notify the Housekeeping Manager and/or supervisor about any guest rooms that need maintenance.
  • Clean guest rooms, public spaces, exteriors, and Back of House daily.
  • Maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.
  • Report and correct any deficiencies in guest rooms or public areas.
  • Assist in completing projects, such as mattress rotation and deep cleanings.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with employees and guests.
  • Communicate effectively between departments.
  • Promote guest name recognition.
  • Maintain knowledge of guest services and amenities.
  • Answer calls in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in the work area.
  • Stay up-to-date on safety and OSHA requirements.
