Role Responsibilities
As a Personal Banker, you will engage in essential branch and customer service functions while directing clients to the appropriate departments for any services offered by Ulster Savings Bank or its affiliates. It is crucial to maintain a secure work environment by following the advanced security measures established by the bank.

Key Duties Include:
- Verifying customer identities to facilitate retail and commercial transactions
- Assisting with safe deposit box operations
- Processing savings bond redemptions for both existing and new clients
- Issuing debit and gift cards upon customer request
- Opening various types of personal and commercial accounts, including checking and savings accounts, safe deposit boxes, and IRAs.

Product Marketing:
- Discussing both traditional and innovative banking products with clients
- Continuously referring clients to other departments and subsidiaries of Ulster Savings Bank
- Staying informed about all products offered by the bank and their respective purposes
- Managing Certificate of Deposit transactions, including redemptions, transfers, and renewals.

Daily Operations:
- Accurately counting currency and coins to balance your cash drawer
- Verifying signatures and amounts on negotiable instruments and various bank forms
- Preparing tickets, proof sheets, and receipts for auditing purposes
- Assisting clients with inquiries and resolving issues
- Traveling to different branches as required
- Performing any additional tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in cash handling
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service and technical abilities.
