About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Wedgewood. As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in transforming distressed properties into revitalized homes, contributing to the improvement of communities one house at a time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Frequently inspect properties for occupancy and make general assessments on the current conditions and quality of neighborhoods prior to acquisition.
  • Support the Acquisitions team by bidding at the local courthouse as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Design team and Area Manager to formulate a game plan for each property.
  • Select and manage contractors, and continuously pursue relationships with new contractors/subs/vendors.
  • Resolve difficult property issues, manage contractors and vendors, and advise regional Area Manager on the status of properties.
  • Drive inventory regularly and check in on properties to ensure projects remain on schedule.
  • Manage 10 to 30 projects at any given time.
  • Prepare homes for listing and collaborate with the Wedgewood Homes Realty team during resale.

Requirements:

  • Experience with project management/single family home remodels is preferred; 1-5 years of experience is ideal.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, Construction Management is a plus.
  • Experience in real estate or appraising is ideal.
  • Proficient with computers, mobile devices, and applications (iPads, Outlook, and basic Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once, take initiative, and think on the go.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
