Chief, Division of Endodontics

We are seeking a highly qualified Endodontics faculty member to lead the Division of Endodontics at the University of California, San Francisco. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting predoctoral and advanced education levels, including lectures, seminars, laboratory, and clinical mentoring in all areas of endodontics.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach and mentor students and residents in endodontics, including lectures, seminars, laboratory, and clinical experiences.
• Support the development and implementation of the endodontics curriculum, including clinical competencies and preparation for licensing exams.
• Participate in department research and scholarly activities, including grants, presentations, and publications.
• Provide patient care in the UCSF Dental Center faculty practice, meeting or exceeding established productivity goals.
• Lead or serve on department and institutional committees, supporting professional service activities and continuing education.
Requirements
• A graduate degree from a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited Advanced Education Program in Endodontics.
• Academic and clinical experience, with demonstrated expertise in advanced technologies.
• Prior experience in dental education and the ability to work productively in didactic and clinical educational environments.
• A history of publications and involvement in research/scholarly activity.
• Eligibility for dental licensure or special permit in the State of California.
