The Area Representative plays a vital role in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) ministry, working closely with the Director and Advisory Team to fulfill the organization's vision and mission. This position requires a strong spiritual foundation, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to connect with college coaches and athletes.
Key Responsibilities- Discipleship and Ministry: Lead, conduct, and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and living by example.
- Ministry Advancement: Engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes by ministering through 1-on-1s, Huddles, and Events.
- Talent Advancement: Oversee recruiting, training, and developing effective and diverse volunteers who lead coaches and athletes into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
- Board Advancement: Invite, involve, and invest in an Advisory Team committed to prayer, service, and giving.
- Donor Advancement: Connect, communicate, and care for existing and prospective financial partners to ensure full funding.
- International Advancement: Work with the Director to serve the aligned International Region by praying, giving, and going.
- Strong spiritual foundation and commitment to FCA's Christian Community Statement.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to connect with college coaches and athletes.
- Flexibility and self-motivation.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
