Job Overview

The Paskin Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of our multifamily properties. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and safety of our facilities across multiple sites.

Position Highlights

This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $25 to $27, based on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring resident satisfaction through the following tasks:

  • Collaborating with the lead supervisor to complete work orders efficiently
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the grounds and common areas
  • Preparing vacant units for new residents
  • Monitoring and upholding safety standards in compliance with regulations
  • Communicating effectively with residents to understand their needs

Additionally, you will perform routine maintenance tasks, manage inventory, and ensure that all workspaces are organized and hazard-free.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • HVAC and pool certifications
  • Experience with various maintenance tools and equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints and architectural documents
  • Skills in managing project bids and contractor supervision
  • Strong organizational skills for inventory management
  • Physical capability to lift 50-75 lbs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Work Schedule

This position typically requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with shared on-call responsibilities for emergencies.
