Job Title: Controls Technician

Join Trane Technologies, a leading climate solutions company, as a Controls Technician in our Contracting Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for commissioning, programming, and setting up graphics, communications links, and end-to-end testing of assigned projects.

About the Role:
  • Commission and start up Building Automation Systems (BAS) on diverse job sites in and around the Orlando, FL area.
  • Document point-to-point verification, sequence of operations validation, and job close-out requirements.
  • Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience with commercial controls and BAS systems.
  • Previous experience with DDC controls systems, preferably Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or Tridium/Niagara.
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort with hand-held devices.
  • A valid driver's license with no major or frequent traffic violations.
  • EPA Certification preferred.
