Your Impact:

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Oversee and mentor the Harvest, Packaging, Manufacturing, and Quality Control Managers, promoting a culture of high performance.
  • Conduct regular performance assessments, provide constructive feedback, and drive ongoing improvement within production teams.
  • Design and implement strategic training initiatives to enhance team capabilities and align with production objectives.

Production Management:

  • Supervise all stages of production from harvesting to finished goods, ensuring adherence to quality standards and operational efficiency.
  • Guarantee timely and compliant execution of production and packaging processes, in line with state regulations and company protocols.
  • Adjust labor production schedules based on departmental requirements, production targets, and resource availability. Monitor key performance indicators and optimize efficiencies as necessary.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Establish and uphold stringent quality control protocols to consistently produce premium cannabis products.
  • Perform comprehensive audits of batch records and inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Process Improvement:

  • Lead initiatives to refine production processes, boost productivity, and minimize waste.
  • Oversee the adoption of new technologies or methodologies to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
  • Develop and manage packaging objectives based on product availability and incoming orders, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Compile and review inventory and production reports to monitor progress towards financial goals.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates to tracking systems, including inventory management tools.

Strategic Development:

  • Collaborate with the National Director of Production to establish and evaluate production targets, develop strategic plans, and address operational challenges.
  • Promote initiatives that align with long-term company objectives, enhancing operational performance and employee engagement.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications for Success:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent – Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Production Management, or a related field – Preferred
  • Demonstrated work history with increasing responsibilities
  • Minimum of 3 years in processing or cultivation experience
  • At least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
  • Proven track record in team management, optimizing production processes, and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities, with a history of enhancing performance and cultivating a positive work atmosphere.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cannabis production processes, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with adaptability to changing priorities and operational demands.
  • Proficiency in production management software and inventory tracking systems.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with inventory management systems and office equipment
  • Familiarity with plant tracking software, both state-mandated and approved

Work Schedule:

  • Standard 40-hour work week: Monday – Friday, with additional hours as required
