The Finance function is a dynamic organization that plays a critical role, particularly as increasing regulatory and capital requirements change the way we do business. Planning & Analysis (P&A), in addition to CFO teams, Controllers, Business Managers, and Project management, make up the majority of the Global Finance team.
The P&A Innovation & Transformation function consists of a team of Product Managers, Data Modelers, and Solution Delivery professionals who deliver innovative products and solutions that enable advanced use of data and technology to drive process optimization and enhanced analytics for Finance, P&A, and Business Management functions.
We are looking for an outstanding product manager with experience in working in a matrixed organization to build the next generation of digital products and services on our modern, cloud-based platform.
One of the key products is Finance Research Analytics and Modeling Engine (FRAME). FRAME - an in-house application that leverages Databricks capabilities to provide a cloud-native F inance R esearch, A nalytics and M odeling E ngine (FRAME). It consists of a set of intuitive and self-service analytics and modelling capabilities with simplified deployment workflows requiring low touch technology team interaction. The target personas are Data Analysts, Business Developers, Statistical Modelers, ML Engineers, Data Scientists and Model Executors.
Job responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy aligned our business goals, incorporating emerging technologies and trends.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritize features based on business value and customer needs, and oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to post-launch optimization.
- Advocate for the customer by ensuring products meet user needs and deliver exceptional experiences, while gathering and analyzing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Understand agile software development processes and work closely with engineers and data scientists to develop products using cloud-based tools (e.g., AWS, Databricks, MLFlow, Python).
- Analyze large data sets to extract insights and trends, define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), and use data-driven insights to optimize product performance.
- Collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives, acting as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively to various audiences, providing regular updates and gathering feedback to ensure alignment and support.
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers and other professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, and providing guidance for the team's success and professional growth.
- Ensure products comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, while identifying and mitigating risks associated with product development and deployment.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- MS/MBA degree or equivalent experience
- 15+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of leading successful product initiatives.
- Ability to set and manage accountabilities and expectations at all levels - team members, peers, business partners and senior management
- Proficiency in statistical and machine learning techniques, with the ability to apply these methods to financial forecasting and risk assessment.
- Strong technical skills, including experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS, and familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and precision.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
- High level of adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
