Position Overview

Become a vital part of a well-established YMCA that has been serving the community for over a century and a half. The Greater Somerset County YMCA is committed to enhancing the lives of over 30,000 individuals through various programs focused on youth development, health, and community engagement.

Role: Site Supervisor for School Age Child Care Programs

Location: Montgomery Township Educational Institutions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide groups of children and staff members
  • Design and execute stimulating activities for children
  • Foster meaningful connections with children and their families
  • Ensure a secure and enjoyable atmosphere
  • Manage program materials and resources
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
  • Facilitate communication with parents and conduct in-service meetings

Qualifications:

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Minimum of two years of experience in child care
  • Current certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Enthusiastic demeanor and a collaborative spirit

Preferred Credentials:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a field related to child development

Work Schedule & Benefits:

Part-time hours available during early morning or late afternoon sessions, Monday through Friday. This position offers benefits such as complimentary YMCA membership and access to retirement programs.
