Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Solutions Engineer to join our team in the Atlanta market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working with Metasys/Facility Explorer and Tridium BAS systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support complex solutions, including retrofits, installations, and service work for Metasys/Facility Explorer and Tridium BAS systems.
  • Troubleshoot Metasys/FX and Tridium building control systems.
  • Program HVAC control systems for Metasys/FX/Tridium platforms.
  • Review job details to identify the most effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to determine the best-fit solutions for their needs.
  • Coordinate with client IT departments to ensure proper access and security.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or as necessary to support projects, project managers, service calls, and customers.
  • Provide 24/7 support to construction project managers, field foremen, and engineers.
  • Assist with specialized control applications, offering literature and remote technical support as needed.
  • Maintain remote access to BAS throughout the project.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call support.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, OR five or more years of like experience will be required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the controls industry supporting FX/Tridium systems.
  • Experience with one or more of the following platforms: Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Trane, Delta Controls, Automated Logic, or other.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to read and understand complex building architectural, mechanical and electrical documents.
