The Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in managing the production of hardware and tooling, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.

The ideal candidate should hold an engineering degree in aerospace, manufacturing, or mechanical disciplines. At Applied Aerospace Structures Corp, we welcome mechanical, aerospace, and manufacturing engineers at various experience levels, from entry-level to highly experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and review Assembly Manufacturing Instruction Documentation (MID) in collaboration with the Program Manager and Quality Engineer for approval.

2. Coordinate with Production Coordinators to ensure adherence to production schedules and availability of materials.

3. Collaborate with Operations to maintain production timelines.

4. Communicate any resource needs to the Program Manager to ensure timely project completion within budget.

5. Engage in direct customer communications as necessary, including teleconferences, Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (MRR's), and customer visits.

6. Provide support for Bids and Proposals, including estimates for labor and materials.

7. Set up projects accurately in the Manufacturing Computer System, including Part Number Maintenance and Bills of Materials.

8. Generate and manage project Requests to Purchase (RTP's) and review Manufacturing Resources Planning (MRP) generated Buy Reports, ensuring proper routing for approvals through Quality, PC, PM, and Purchasing.

9. Create and maintain "piece-part" routers for simple components (e.g., clean/prime, machined parts, etc.).

10. Adhere to all safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, specializing in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing fields.

- Strong technical writing and documentation capabilities.

- Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices, including hazardous materials and waste management, air quality, and water quality.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams, contractors, and vendors.

- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience with composite materials.

- Background in a manufacturing environment.
