Job OverviewPosition Summary: We are seeking a skilled Non-Destructive Testing Technician (NDT Tech) to support our operations in the aerospace sector. In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential evaluations on turbine engines and associated components utilizing Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle testing techniques. Reporting directly to the Quality Systems Director, your primary duties will include examining structures for defects, interpreting results, and ensuring adherence to established technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute non-destructive testing procedures on various components to detect issues such as porosity, fusion, depth, and cracks.
  • Conduct inspections on a range of structures, including welds, castings, and machined parts.
  • Accurately interpret testing outcomes to determine the acceptance or rejection of items based on technical specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Perform equipment setup, conduct daily inspections, and uphold process performance metrics.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in magnetic particle and liquid penetrant testing methodologies.
  • Preferred certification: ANST Level II.
  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory; an Associate's degree is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
