**Work Schedule:** First Shift, Monday through Friday, 6 AM - 3 PM.

**Qualifications for the Metal Finisher role:**
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in metal finishing or machining are advantageous.
  • Prior experience as a Metal Finisher or Blender in the aerospace or aviation manufacturing sector is preferred.
  • Skilled in hand-blending, deburring, and finishing metal components using various tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 standards and quality management systems pertinent to aerospace manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finished products.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • A safety-focused mindset with a commitment to adhering to established protocols and guidelines.


**Key Responsibilities of the Metal Finisher:**
  • Execute hand-blending, deburring, and finishing of metal aircraft engine components to achieve exact tolerances and smooth surfaces.
  • Employ a variety of hand tools, abrasives, and finishing equipment to accurately shape and polish components in accordance with engineering specifications.
  • Conduct inspections of finished components for any flaws, defects, or burrs, ensuring compliance with AS9100 quality standards.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, following safety protocols and best practices for metal finishing tasks.
  • Document and record work performed, ensuring accurate production and inspection data is maintained.
