Job OverviewPosition Summary: We are seeking a skilled Non-Destructive Testing Technician to support our operations in the aerospace sector. In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential evaluations on turbine engines and their components using advanced testing techniques such as Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle methods. You will report directly to the Director of Quality Systems and play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute non-destructive testing procedures on various components to detect defects such as porosity, fusion issues, cracks, and other anomalies.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of structures, including welds, castings, and machined parts.
  • Accurately interpret testing results to determine compliance with established technical specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
  • Perform necessary setups, daily inspections, and maintain high standards of process performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in magnetic particle and liquid penetrant testing.
  • Preferred certification: ANST Level II.
  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory; an Associate's degree is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach and ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
