Key Responsibilities- Respond to service calls in a timely manner, prioritizing guest-related issues and completing repairs within 2 days.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, taking corrective action as needed.
- Follow departmental procedures for efficient repair, maintenance, and installation work.
- Comply with local, county, state, and federal codes, laws, and requirements.
- Coordinate with other department personnel to complete service, replacement, alteration, and new installation work.
- Previous hotel engineering experience, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, commercial kitchen, and general building construction.
- Vocational training, associate's degree, certification, and/or apprenticeship in one or more area; state certification or licensure where required.
- Ability to understand and maintain advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High work ethic and self-initiative.
