Job Description

At Sompo International, we are seeking an experienced Associate Product Line Manager to join our Product Development team. This role will be responsible for providing support to the Technical Product Line Managers, focusing on key lines of business including Workers Compensation, Automobile, General Liability, and Umbrella.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Technical Product Line Managers with research to maintain products, conduct LCM/rate reviews, develop new products, and ensure ongoing maintenance for designated lines of business.
  • Assisting with state filings, developing forms and templates, preparing and publishing required documents, and other related tasks.
  • Providing operational and underwriting support by assisting in the distribution of alerts, notices, and other materials, developing underwriting guidelines, training, and tools to ensure company compliance and underwriting standards.
  • Assisting in the Management Initiated/Underwriting audit process to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards, including audit preparation, monitoring of audit recommendations, and updating audit dashboards.
Requirements:
  • College degree and/or industry designation (e.g., AINS, CPCU) a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in underwriting commercial lines of business, with a focus on designated lines of business.
  • Solid foundation in insurance underwriting and/or insurance operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
