Point of Care Coordinator Job Description

At K.A. Recruiting, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Point of Care Coordinator to join our team in Southern West Virginia. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide oversight and direction for all functions within the assigned section, including procedures, quality control, quality assurance, and maintenance.
  • Assume supervisory responsibilities for other sections in the absence of the supervisor, ensuring continuity of operations and maintaining high standards of performance.
  • Oversee all laboratory functions during periods when Laboratory Management is unavailable, including on-call duties, to ensure seamless operation and patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with all CAP (College of American Pathologists) regulations, keeping the department current with regulatory requirements and implementing necessary changes or improvements.
