MountainPlex Media Account Executive

MountainPlex Media is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our growing team. As a key member of our media team, you will be responsible for identifying and selling new business opportunities, collaborating with our Director of Media and Entertainment to develop compelling advertising campaigns, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through market research and analysis
- Develop and implement effective advertising campaigns that meet client objectives and adhere to our style guide
- Provide regular performance reports to clients, highlighting the effectiveness of their campaigns and suggesting improvements
- Manage social media posting and content creation to enhance MountainPlex Media stations and client visibility and engagement across platforms
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to expand professional contacts and enhance company visibility
- Servicing and growing existing accounts
- Developing proposals that meet client needs and opportunities
- Work with clients to get them the best placement
- Ensure client satisfaction through continual communication and follow-up
- Communicate and assist with rate negotiations consistent with operating goals and budgets
- Ensure prompt payment on accounts
Requirements:
- Self-motivated and able to communicate product value
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent presentation and computer skills
- Ability to exercise judgment and operate independently
- Ability to read, draft, and comprehend complex and persuasive business correspondence and creative proposals
- Media sales experience and knowledge of market demographics highly desirable
- Associates degree or higher in related field preferred
