Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality behavioral health services to patients in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients for behavioral health history and document signs, symptoms, and treatment recommendations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, collaborating with other providers and insurance companies as needed.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, as ordered.
  • Coordinate care with referral sources and other providers, ensuring seamless transitions and effective treatment planning.
  • Document assessments, evaluations, therapy notes, and contacts accurately and timely.
Qualifications
  • ND Licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to react quickly and calmly in volatile situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products and maintain accurate records.
