Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual behavior modification services to students enrolled in special programs.
  • Support Level C district classrooms.
  • Conduct social skills training groups.
  • Offer crisis intervention to students.
  • Conduct individual and group counseling.
  • Offer education support to students within the program.
  • Conduct training in daily living skills for students and staff.
  • Develop and maintain a plan of safety for children in the program.
  • Empower and assist the student and their families to express needs and access needed services and/or supports.
  • Define individualized goals collaboratively between the school staff, family, and student.
  • Collaborate with other personnel on site to minimize the loss of instructional time and disruption of the educational environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all students in accordance with school board policy.
  • Other duties assigned.
