Overview:

In the esteemed role of Structured Finance Product Manager IV at Wilmington Trust, you will spearhead the development of multiple product lines for Global Capital Markets. This entails designing, developing, implementing, and marketing innovative financial solutions to drive business growth. As a strategic leader, you will support initiatives with multi-year implementation cycles, crossing various functional areas. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that products/services are marketable, profitable, and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Establish the strategic direction for product development efforts within assigned product lines, presenting business plans to senior management and employees.
2. Set objectives for new product and market development, evaluating and recommending new services or products, or modifying existing ones. You will assess new product/service success, implement, and manage changes in service or marketing strategy, as well as explore opportunities beyond the current footprint and operating platform.
3. Develop key metrics to measure business/product/market performance, identifying internal and external benchmarks. You will create and manage reports and analysis related to the product portfolio.
4. Uphold the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with its Risk Appetite. Escalate risk-related issues to management when necessary.
5. Foster an environment that promotes diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand values.
6. Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points, along with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
7. Complete other duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree and possess a minimum of 9 years' experience in marketing, product management, product development, finance, operations, and/or project management. Alternatively, a combined minimum of 13 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 9 years' experience in marketing, product management, finance, operations, and/or project management, is acceptable. The salary range for this position is $188,648.20 - $314,413.67 annually.
